What new habit will you form this month? Use the power of the group to motivate you to success!

Remember:

1. One habit at a time is best.
2. Small goals are more successful in these challenges — don't bite off too much at once.
3. If you post every day to this forum, you'll be more successful — more accountability = better motivation.

Good luck everyone!

My three goals for this next 30 days are

1) Waking up at 6:00am
2) Writing for 2 hours
3) Visualizing for 20 minutes

I think this should push me without overwhelming me. Let's go!

I'll be writing 2000 words a day this month to finish NaNoWriMo.

... I don't exactly have any habits to change as my life is in complete chaos right now. I'm still working on babysteps through flylady.

The habits that I want to develop the next 30 days are:

1. Stretch my limbs and my whole body every day for at least several minutes.
2. Write one paragraph each day (fiction)
3. Go to bed between 22.30 - 22.45.

These are all important step stones towards my personal goals, and they should be attainable.

Limit energy consumption to less than 2,200 calories on greater than 7,000 grams of intake volume per day for 21 consecutive days. (Start 11/11/09)

Actually that's a result not a habit or process.
Let me go back to trying to do the habit of "maintaining situational awareness" (present moment awareness) and letting go of compulsive thinking especially fear and regret. Score myself on a 7 point scale where 7 is complete awareness and 1 is continually caught up in thinking for over 98% of the moments of the day. Score based on a "blink" reaction to what the day felt like... giving it a number.
The habit would be to review and score this measure daily.
(revised 11/12/09)

I am a new visitor to ZenHabits. In two weeks , i could make many improvements in life.

1.I started a dailly routine - to wake up early (15 minutes earlier), tidying up my living room, go for walk(for 10mts), improving vocabulary

2.My new goal is to focus in being present.I aim to practice this continuously for 2 hours during my studies for this month and twice a day.

Post My November Habit: Regain the evening routine and become an Reply with quote
October was a bad month for me: I destroyed the habit I had created in September, which was following an evening routine, and was unable to go through the entire month creating the habit of rising early (I actually started rising later than usual).

The main reasons were the fact that I was on vacation for the last two weeks of October, and that by the same time the DST started for us in Brazil.

So for November I intend on regaining my habit from September, and as it’s quite related with rising early, I’m going to create an exception, and work on both things this month.

My evening routine is: stretching, setting suit and coffee for tomorrow, and going to bed by the time I should, according to the rising early schedule.

My rising schedule will be:

9th to 12th: 07:40 am (11:40 pm)
13th to 16th: 07:20 am (11:20 pm)
17th to 20th: 07:00 am (11:00 pm)
21st to 25th: 06:40 am (10:40 pm)
26th to 30th: 06:20 am (10:20 pm)

As before, the first time is the time when I’m going to get up, and the second is the maximum time for me to go to bed the night before.

Habits to keep up:
1. To set my 3 MITs each morning

I have decided to revamp my challenge which goes on for 90 days.

If this is my goal irrationally for the next 90 days, it will ease the pressure of approaching.

#1So for the next 90 days, irrationally aim for

Exchange rejected contact info with 100 hot women
Go on rejected dates with 10 hot women

Start date- 13 Nov
End date - 13 Feb

Get rejected irrationally by 1-6 women a day

#2- Check in daily for 5 mins
