Post your March 2009 Challenge Here |
|
I've gone awol for the past month. Maybe I needed a break. Truth was, my goals were not attainable for my situation! Now I'm looking towards spring and progress, and setting new goals. Sometimes a step back is good!
For March, I want to get outside, in daylight, for 20 minutes every day. This is attainable for me as I have 2 dogs to walk, but my husband has kindly taken the duty over lately when I've not felt up to it.
To this goal, I will add (as much as I can) good attempts at all my previous goals. I don't expect to accomplish each every day, but will aim for 50%. After all, they're almost habits now, right?
I have another short list of tasks I'd like to complete by the end of March:
Get my new passport
Social insurance card updated
Put together a budget based on receipts I've kept for the last 2 years
Establish some financial Goals
_________________ Previous Challenges to Carry Over
*20 minute walk in daylight
*Trust and Rest
*Fasting after 8pm
*One hour relaxation
*Positive thinking and journaling
*Bed by 10:30 |

Ok, for the next month i want to improve my social skills.
So i need to talk to as many people as possible, try to be extravert and friendly, smile. If anybody can give me any more tips, they're welcome.
Another one: i'm already meditating, but i'd like to find a way to do this more effectively. I feel calmer and more centered in general, but i feel like just counting breaths isn't the most effective form.

Hey there,
I m new here. I just registered a few days ago and I am eager to participate.
My goals for March are:
- writing a journal (an entry a day)
- declutter my living space every day...keep things neat and tidy, clean up the kitchen after I have used it, don't let me laundry lying around in my room, pay the bills on time, clean my desk every night before I go to bed...
- getting up before 9AM...I used to work abroad for a couple of months and I am back home now for 2 weeks. Since I am not working at the moment it is very difficult to keep a "9 to 5" lifestyle...this is particularly in the morning. I stay up until 2AM or 3AM in the night reading, watching TV, chatting and so on...but I wanna change this and I wanna get up in the morning before 9AM!
- socialize more...well it is pretty obvious what this means. I have friends that I meet regularly, but I wanna get in touch with people I havent seen for a long time or that have just been acquiantances so far
good luck everyone
